The European Medicines Agency is organising a meeting with European experts in paediatric bone health to address important issues related to the development of new medicines for treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in children. Main topics of the discussions will be similarity of the disease between adults and children, need and feasibility of paediatric studies, design and outcome measures for clinical trials and specific issues related to glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis and osteogenesis imperfecta. Registration by invitation only.
